Comedy Pet Theatre is a blend of the unique comedy of Gregory Popovich (award-winning star of the Moscow Circus and champion juggler) and the extraordinary talents of his performing pets. Comedy Pet Theatre has a big cast of over 25 gifted animals ?all of his dogs and cats have been rescued from animal shelters. Featured on The Tonight Show, Late Night with David Letterman, and Animal Planet, this is a show for the whole family that you simply have to see!

To mark the 70th anniversary of Blue Note Records, the premier label in jazz, an all-star band featuring some of today’s finest musicians will visit the Orange County Performing Arts Center’s Samueli Theater January 23 and 24 to celebrate the company’s rich catalog of music. Led by Blue Note Records artist and pianist, Bill Charlap, the group will explore classic tunes by Bud Powell, Thelonious Monk, Horace Silver, Herbie Hancock, Lee Morgan, Wayne Shorter, and many others. Charlap will be joined by guitarist Peter Bernstein, tenor saxophonist Ravi Coltrane, drummer Lewis Nash, trumpeter Nicholas Payton, bassist Peter Washington and alto saxophonist Steve Wilson.

Enjoy an evening of world music with a modern expression. This popular Persian group consists of a vocalist, strings and music programmer. The three combined create an exotic ambience of the old and new with folk and electronic music styles. It?s a beautiful fusion of the two features: the traditional Persian instruments such as the saz (lute), rabab (bowed string instrument) and percussion along with modern day synthesizers, keyboards, electric guitar and vocals. Having recently published a sensationalist exposé of his abusive childhood, Mark is desperate for atonement. This poignant family drama is about making mistakes, trust, truth and forgiveness.
